Als moslim zijn er 5 zaken die je in je leven dient te doen. Deze zaken worden ook wel de 5 zuilen van de Islam genoemd. Het zijn 5 pilaren die elke moslim stabiel maken en in evenwicht houden, vandaar ook de naam. De Islam steunt namelijk op al deze 5 pilaren samen. De 5 zuilen van de Islam zijn: Geloofsbelijdenis (‘sjahada’).
